hi all,i've failed before i've started.just got a liteon dvd rewriter drive,took old dvd drive out (broken) and put liteon in its place.put it all back together and it worked fine.this was last night.today the dvd drive doesn't work.it shows up in my computer but does nothing.my cd rewritwer has gone from my computer but will open.where did i go wrong?????
could be a driver issue.You may need to re install the drivers for the devices you are using on your pc
its ok i've sorted it.it was the jumper on the back of the drive.it was set as a slave rather than a master drive.thanks...
