my dvd drive wont burn to 16X dvd-R's, i think this is as my drivers need a firmware update, how can i do this ??
Go to the drives manufacturers site and see if there is one. If this drive came w/ a laptop or a laptop the pc/laptop manufacturer may be the ones updating the drive. It fairly easy - run the .exe and the drive will be flashed. During this time leave the power on - only takes a few minutes - have no other programs running and no discs in the drive. Reboot and the drive should know have the updated firmware. What's the make and model?
