swapped out the laser in the dvd drive, and desoldered the static point, put it back into the xbox and now everything but the laser itself has no power in the drive. i can upload a video if needed.
grabbed my other drive that i took parts from and decided to plug it in for shits and giggles. and it works fine. so im thinking that logic board is fried and in that case im kinda boned...
nah i transfered all of the hardware over to the new drive except the old logic board and it reads disks just fine. i just need to figure out how to flash it and get the key off the old one...if i can im not sure on how dead the old board is...
