dvd drive letter changes back to cd

    this is probably simple but I hope someone can help. Have a normal Cd burner and a Pioneer 109 DVD burner. After installing either Nero 7 or Clone DVD2 my D: drive under my computer changed from DVD to CD. The burner is still recognized in device manager and system props. as a DVD burner and can still burn DVD's. Wondered why the change occurred.

    try firmware updates on both

    I just looked at mine it says cd drive but on the little disc icon it says dvd, be happy don't worry

    This happenes with mine as well. It says CD Drive unless I have a DVD in it, then it changes to DVD drive. So as above nothing to really worry about.
