My Liteon SOHW1739s drive was working OK but all of a sudden will not recognise a disk is inserted. I do not know if this is a registry problem or the drive has failed. When a disk is inserted, the drive light stays on for about 5 seconds, then goes out, blinks three times and does this three times, I do not know what the code means. I would appreciate any advise on the above. kevsim
Hi, I'd try and boot from CD, make a change in your BIOS first and then see if it recognises the disk, if it does it's a windows issue and if it doesn't change the drive
