dvd driver

    i have a dvd+rw rw5125 in my computer it's a ricoh and it will not let me burn dvd+r

    If it was working burning before, but it is not burning now, it is burnt out; it happens. Thankfully, you can get a very good dvd burner for about $25.

    check for new firware updates. what make of disks are they?

    You Could try another IDE Port, the secondary one to be exact. i have a Pioneer DVR-108 it worked for two days on primary channel but its worked 6 years on the secondary channel.

    Sometimes the writing function of a DVD Writer will blow out but it still works as a Reader.

    if your in for a New Drive. Lite-on and Pioneer are some of the best.
