    model SONY DVD RW DW-Q3OA

    I require a driver for this model
    can anyone direct me to a free down load

    I just lost the drivers for my sony dual layer burner model DRX-810UL The sony site says no drivers available. Can anyone steer me in the right direction Please?

    I have actually never heard of drivers being needed for any DVD burner, except for LiteScribe burners. Firmware yes, but drivers, no.

    Thanks for your reply. When I plug it into the usb port it comes up as an unknown device. When I double click on that it says there are no drivers installed for this device. Then I tried to update the driver and it says there is no better software than what I have. Very frustrating.

    did the drive come seperately or come in the enclosure? have you tried the software that came with the enclosure?

    the drive came already enclosed. There was a cd with it containing a bunch of nero stuff on it. Right now it won't play anything.
