HI, For the first time i am trying to burn a DL DVD. single layers work very well, however nero seems to not think theres room... I am using a DVD+R DL Imations disk. I first tried using dvd srhink with no compression, and it recognised the dual layer disk but when it comes to burn, gives the error "not enough room for the compilation" Nero says its a dual layer dvd but wont even start writing. Which is good as the dvd is still unused. Any ideas? nero log as follows. Try Search button to learn how to enable DMA.
Hi there, If you are going to be using Dual Layer Media, I suggest you go to the latest version of Nero v6.6.0.13 I think several fixes were done for Dual Layer since that version ! Here a link to show you how to fix that DMA problem. That's nVidia Drivers right ? Nero tech support said NOT to use nVidia drivers with Nero because there are conflicts problems. I read that in an other thread ! http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/DMA.html Just curious, Firmware v1.16 for the GSA-4120B, that's a hacked firmware right ? All I can find is v1.15 is the latest official firmware... And yes, provide us with a Full Nero log, maybe there's other things we can see in there !
You could use Decrypter to rip and burn your DL discs. Mode, ISO Read, read original disc. Mode, ISO Write, find MDS file and off you go!
