I used TMPEGnc to covert ,athour and burn to a DVD+RW disk. It only works on my Xbox! WHY??? I tried it on my PS2 and my Home DVD player but they did not seem to work! Could it b my (+) disk's? Should I use (-) instead or different software?

DVD+RW media will only work for the newer PS2s (V4 and up, although only some V4 will work) and I have the same problem as you with the DVD player. My Electrohome brand DVD player does not read DVD-RW media, let alone DVD+RW. Although my Pioneer one seem to be able to read them just fine.

My advice, try some DVD-R media (somewhat higher compatibility with DVD players) if your burner supports it or use just plain old DVD+R media instead of DVD+RW.

Wouldn't the ps2 need a mod chip first?

no mod chip is needed to play movie backups.
