dvd encountered an error and cannot continue

    plse help have backed up with success in past with dvd shrink, dvd decrypter and nero 6 am all of a sudden getting the following error during analize in shrink (not all movies are doing this) could someone please help as this is pissing me off. the error reads.....FAILED TO READ "D:\" DATA ERROR (CYCLIC REDUNDANCY CHECK)

    The I/O error?? can cover a multitude of faults, but I think??????(yep I did guys')

    Despite having the best progs; I'd re-inforce em with AnyDVD, or maybe DVD43.

    An I/O Error is a way of displaying a problem your drive had with the disc or your system config (mainly a disc problem though). Un-recovered read errors, Seek errors, Servo errors, Focusing errors, ECC errors, CIRC Unrecoverable errors, etc. are all your drives way of saying “I don’t like this disc”. Clean the disc, update your drives firmware,
