How do you know when this thing gets an error or something is wrong. Theres nothing to watch other than that bar running across the screen. Reason I'm asking is mine I think frooze up on a movie because the bar just stoped moving for over a half hour. I hit stop and was closeing it out and it asked are you sure, copying in procress. But I'm sure it was hung up. Thanks
As fatStrat said you most likely have a bad or scratched disc. I had a bad disc which turned out to be a bad pressing. I went and got me a another one and it worked fine. Make sure there is no scratches on it or not dirty from finger marks or food from someone else that had it before you. Good luck.
