im about to burn my dvd from my .flv file I press create dvd and a message pops up saying - if i click yes this comes up my problem is i dont know why it says i dont have enough space i have over 4gb of space available. what should i do, i want the video to come out perfect on the dvd. so if i just press yes twice and it dosent have enough room to encode will it (the dvd produced) not be perfect?? Help me please !
You dont have to worry about the second messsge, just click ok and proceed. As for the "not enough space" try using an external harddrive. Or choosing another directory in C:// If there really is not enough space, it wont reduce video quality, it will only cut the video when more mem. is not available. I suggest you buy a DVD-RW and try pressing yes and ok. If it does not work out you can always erase and reuse the disc. If none of these things work, you can tell DVD Flick to just create a disc image or just a DVD folder (VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS). Just click on "project settings" and then click on "burning" Check the box "create iso image" for a disc image. Or uncheck the top 2 boxes for DVD folders. If you have to resort to this last step tell me if you need help on creating a dvd from vob bup and ifo files. Or if you need help on burning a image to disc. Edge
And id you want slightly better quality on your videos I suggest passing them through the encoder twice. I takes slightly more time but gives better quality. Also consider putting your encoding profile to best. I made a 3.5 hr disc with DVD flick and it finished making the DVD folder in under 45 minutes. Go to "project settings" and then click on "video" Encoding profile to best Click on "Advanced" Check box that says "second encoding pass" Create DVD! Edge
Hi - i have a similar problem.... I am trying to convert an avi file to a dvd & it's telling me I need at least 6718mb of free space to complete encoding. When I click yes, to continue the program closes. I have 30GB left on my drive. HELP!!!!
