I just recently started using dvd flick, i used to use convertxdvd.
I converted 2 dvd's yesterday night, quality and all is fine, but when i try to play it on my dvd player neither of them are wide screen (16x9) they are both 4:3

I made sure to check 16x9 in both areas of the program, the project section and the edit section of the movie file. But for whatever reason when i play it on my dvd player it just wont do widescreen.

    Anyone else have this problem?

    Help would be appreciated?

Play it on the computer and check if it's 16:9.

If you can't tell from just viewing it, copy one of the
1GB vob files to the hard drive and open it with Gspot.
On the lower right, it will tell you the DAR, either 16:9 or 4:3

Try using FitCD. If the video is 4:3 letterboxed you can use it
to autocrop and resize it so that you can generate 16:9 anamorphic
    output. Here's a mini-guide

(you have to scroll down the page a ways and you'll see screen shots)
