ok first off sorry if this has been asked millions of times before but I'm having troubles with this and not sure where to post. I just bought a dvd burner with dvd-r discs. I want to be able to make backups of my games and movies so I can protect the originals. I've tryed dvd decrypter and alcohol 120% with the same results, they read the image to .iso file and its fine. Tryed burning it to dvd-r, works fine until you launch the game, it says to insert original cd (with dvd decrypter) alcohol 120% just crashes it. I did notice one difference before launching the game. There is no icon by the drive and the name doesn't change from the cdimage like it won't read the autorun.inf. same results with virtual clone drive. Is backing up a pc dvd game even possible?
hi i would say use dvd decrypter on iso read then write but i am no game guy!!! but i would guess they need patches or something? drop down to the xbox or ps2 forums!
go to game burn world and u will find what u need to know u can use dvdd in iso mode read and write but u need patches ie no cd or fixed exes
Yea if these r computer games u r backing up u r gonna need to dl the exes for the games which have been cracked. Otherwise you won't be able to play the game. You'll be able to install it, but when you click on the game exe, all u will get are error messages
