I need some advice. I have a G4 Macintosh with a Pioneer DVR-A05U DVD drive and a APEX DVD player on my home entertainment system. Recently while in Cuba, I with deep sea fishing with a friend and met up with a couple of German lads. The Germans and I exchanged photos after the trip and they sent me a DVD of the fishing trip afterwards. Yes, they were great guys. The DVD plays well in my APEX DVD player. I mentioned it to my friend and he wanted a copy. I went to copy it on my Macintosh. However to my surprise the DVD will not mount or play in the Pioneer DVR-A05U DVD drive in my Macintosh. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and is there a way around it? Is it because it's in a PAL format or could it be a region problem? All advice appreciated.
Most likely because it's PAL. I don't have a MAC, so I'm afraid I can't be of much help. Well I have access to a PeeCee as well so if I need a PeeCee to do something specific I can swith the DVR A05U drive to the PeeCee and burn the distgere my problem now is that the disk is ejected before it even mounts. What are mt options if it's a PAL disk?
