dvd is cut on TV 2/3 of screen on left, 1/3 on right

    I burn a preformatted DVD, when i play it on TV 2/3 of the screen is on the left hand side, 1/3 is on the right hand side, audio works great..

    Not sure if i am downloading incorrect format or what, i am in Ny, i use ntsc, burning movie with dvd-r via nero, vob file

    I have neodvd & tmpg which i try too reformat the VOB files, but it never grab 2 vob file, it says something about the AUDIO cannot be grabbed...




    not sure if this is in the Right area...

    This is because you are burning an svcd screen size to a dvd. In tmpeg change the resolution to 720x480 or 640x480. Hope this helps.

    tmpeg is unable to open 2nd VOB file , unable to grab audio

    I can't help, but I believe I'm having the same problem myself. I'm using DVD-Lab and I burned it and noticed there was parts cut off from each side, not sure how much exactly.

    But if anybody has an answer to this, I also posted below on "I'm New ... This is what I want ... somebody help me out" Check it out please.
