Pls help. Have 37 dvds of Sopranos to copy. Was able to copy about 12. The rest is not recognized by the system. DVDShrink, Nero and Windows don't see the DVD, but I'm able to view the same DVD in my regular DVD player. This DVDs are copies already, so no shrinking or authoring involved.
It's probably a media issue that your dvd drive does not recognize and most likely can be corrected with a firmware update. Check here for the latest firmware version for your drive: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_search.php Just type the model of burner in the search box and click search. If there is a new version, other than what you already have, download it to your desktop and double click on it and it should self install or provide directions for installing. If you have trouble, post the burner model and firmware version you have and myself or someone else will look it up for you. Cheers.
Thanks a lot. I'll try that tonight, 'cause I'm at work and won't be able to try it right now. Let you know tomorrow. Thanks.
Found a firmware update on the official site for my dvd writer. However, I cannot update it, 'cause it's saying: "the device is not connected correctly". Uninstalled the driver for it, then installed it again, still: "...not connected correctly". Tried connecting it both ways - thru a build in usb 1.0 and thru a usb 2.0 pcmia - same problem. Help pls.
