Greetings All! I have almost a TB of DVD ISOs I want to compress them, so I get roughly one DivX per GB.. Is it possible to compress the DVDs in such a way that it retains the 5.1 audio, but just reduces the KBps? Hope I've made that clear enough! & I hope I got the right Forum sub-section!
Check AutoGordianKnot to see if it fits your needs. I allows custom settings for output size and choice of audio track. Choose the .ifo of the main title and select a custom size of 1000 MB for the converted file. AutoGordianKnot http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=64266
Try fairuse 2.6 light edition (free) , with other programs you need to unpack your iso's. This program will only work with iso's. The reason I recommend it is because it's easy to use and will keep you videos in perfect audio sync. You can also batch convert several iso's at a time and will even turn off your computer when it's done. http://www.fairusewizard.com/lang_en/fairuse_wizard_dvd_divx_xvid_backup_tool_light_edition.html
I vote for AutoGK (please note: having an ISO is identical to having a DVD, since you can 'mount' the image with DaemonTools.
