hi everyone. i have been using DVD lab pro for a while and this problem never occured to me before. i use convertXtoDVD to make my files VOB, and then i import them in DVD lab pro to create the menus and the connections of the DVD. Usually the new DVD is much larger than 4,4 Gb so that means that i first compile the DVD in my hard drive and the use shrink DVD to fit it in a disc. my problem is that when i compile the DVD with DVD lab pro, although the VOB files are in the designated folder, the BUP and IFO files are missing...(i think all the menus and general info are there isn't it?). ShrinkDVD or powerDVD therefor are not recognising a DVD in this folder...any ideas why this migh be happening? Thanx in advance
perhaps there is a vob file corrupted. you could maybe check to see if if powerdvd is recognizing the folder as a dvd after shrinking it and before compiling it in dvdlab.
thanx... figured as you told me that even the vob files have not been encoded correctly...anyway i did the last updates fot all involved software and everything seems to be going fine.
