dvd lab pro not importing subtitles

    i have been trying to resolve the problem by myself for a while now and i dont know what to do,dvd lab will not open any subtitles in any format (sub,)or the preffered srt) all it does is create a single subtitile box for me to begin creating my own subtitle;

    whay has nobody helped me
    SOS,Flare gun, morse code, Grenade, White flag....
