That almost rhymes! I was hoping that would get your attention I've recently downloaded a few of my favorite TV series in avi format. I'm just wondering how I go about burning multiple episodes to DVD. I started out using Avi2DVD which created an ISO. I figured I could burn the ISO with ImgBurn but learned I can only do one ISO per disk which sucks. I'm guessing here, but is the best method to convert the avi files to DVD files (VOB, Video TS, etc at least I think that's what they're called)and then burn the separate files to a DVD? What program should I use, I've got TMPGEnc DVD Author, ConvertXtoDVD, DVD Decryptor, InfoEdit, DVD Maestro, to name a few. I don't think any of these is what I really need tho..... Since I want to put as many as I can on a DVD, can I shrink the DVD files with DVD shrink to cram 4 or so episodes onto a DVD? I seek thy advice oh mighty DVD Masters! Your counsel would be much appreciated! Thy disciple, Riz
I use Nero Vision Express myself to convert AVI files to DVD. You can import as many AVI files (TV Episodes) that Vision Express lets you. I uasly can get 4 or 5 Episodes on 1 disc before it says I cannot put anymore on it. These are 1 hour episodes, so if it is 30 minute episodes you could get twice as much on it. When you import the files into vision express it acts kinda like a VCR recording option does (SP.EP.SLP) if you go over the limit for SP vision express will ask if you want to switch it to lower quility(EP) and once you get past the limit with that it will lower the quility 1 more time and let you even put more on it. You will get to a point where you wont bable to add anymore AVI files. Of course the more you add the less quility you will get on the conversion. It will then let you make a menu. It will make a selection window for each episode you import. This is good since after you get done converting you will have a menu where you can choose whatever episode you want to watch. Im sure others might have more sugestions for you but Nero Vision Express works fine for me and that is all i use to convert AVI files to DVD.
