dvd media dye

    I need to know if there's truth behind this rumor. A few people have told me that the dvd medias with the color(dyed) bottoms don't play back in dvd players as well as the medias with the silver bottoms. Is this true?

    The best media these days uses the "Dark Purple" Dye.
