Hi I have Started backing up some of my movies using dvdshrink and nero.
I set dvdshrink to perform a deep analysis before backup to improve quality and compress video with high quality adaptive error compensation. I also have it set to region free. After My dvdshrink backs up my dvd to my hard drive I burn it using nero burner at about 2.4x to get a good backup. Now my problem is that I use my ps2 as my dvd player and when I place my backups into it they skip ever 2 sec or the will play fine until you try to skip to a later scene. Any one have any ideas I am wasting countless dvds trying to backup some of my favorite movies

PS: I have also tried backing it up fast and burning at max speed but no go. If any one has any ideas to what I am doing wrong please let me know .I don't know if this helps but i was trying to back up my movies on TDK dvd+r RW 16x. Thanks in advance

TDK's can be a little dodgy for some people, I would recommend Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden DVD+R...not RW.

Forget RW's. Get some -R's and you should be good to go, except for the ps2 junker.

Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden have a wider degree of compability with standalone players.
