I recently bought a dvd burner. I can copy DVDS w/ DVD shrink without a problem. My friend had told me that she uses dvd shrink as well and copies the dvds to cd which will work on dvd player. I cant seem to figure it out and she is not reachable at this time. Anyone out there able to give me the steps on how I can do this?? Thanks in advance for your help.

You said you can already backup your movies to a DVD disk. Don't bother putting them onto a CD!

First you will need several CDs to hold one movie. -OR- You will need to compress the movie enough to fit on one CD and will look REAL bad.

Just put your backups onto DVDs. The disks aren't that expensive anymore.

Thanks for your replies everyone. Yes, i know the DVD's are best, expecially since they arent as expensive as they used to be. It was just something I wanted to do/try, as I was given about 300 cdr's for free, and wanted to backup my entire collection for my Mom. The ones my friend did awhile back and gave to me seemed suitable, and was one movie per cd. The quality wasnt really affected as far as I could tell.
    Thanks Again.
