DVD Movies to SD card

    Hi
    I want to transfer movies from DVD to SD cards to watch on Sat Nav device.Can it be done reasonably simply,if so how please.

    If you're thinking full DVD format, you're going to need at least a 4-8GB (or bigger) for each movie... If you're planning to downsize main movie only (say convert to .avi with a program like AutoGK), you can get a 2 hr movie down to about 700MB.

    Once you have the type of file you want to use, all you need to do is copy from your computer to the SD card...

    Thanks for your reply Joleca,firstly I went on that site and downloaded DVD Shrink 3.2 which then invites you to buy Nero?
    The video playback supports the MPG1,MPG4,3GP and WMV formats on my sat nav and as all this means not a lot to me I was hoping that I might get "wizard like" instructions.Basically I need more help please.
