mp3 as a data file? Use nero or roxio's ecdc. Same process as burning mp3 to a cd-r/rw. First of all, you have to have a dvd writer.
1 . I have a dvd writer... 2 . I have tried t write as data ...infact I burned a dvd+rw full of mp3s like 1142 tracks..but I was not able to play it in my dvd player ...the panasonic s 35 .. 3. I tried converting the mp3s to ac3 ..and then burned it on to the dvd rw...still no hope..now i am going to try to put the mp3s in a folder named audio ts and the burn it like that...i am not sure if its gonna work...but we will see..anyway ..I was hoping anyone here know some other way...or if someone could tell me what and where I am doing my mistake...so plzz help meee
Check out (www.sonicfoundry.com) DVD Architect, it is part of vegas+dvd. It can make DVD's full of music that will be playable in your dvd player. It will take mp3's as source but transcodes them to AC3 so it takes some time. There is a demo and manual available for download on the website.
I dont think stand alone dvd players support dvd mp3's......not on my sony ns315 anyway. But it will play cd-r/rw mp3's tho. Correct me if I'm wrong, peeps! cheezzzz
yes I have tried DVD Architect, vegas+dvd...but it wont do it ..it says i am missing the mp3 plug in 2.0 ..and when i tried to download it from the sonic web page...it says my serial no is not reconizeddddddd..!!?? well i do have the cracked version...vegas+dvd 4.0 and dvd architect 1.0 ..so what can i do now...plzz help..
Hello Some thing you should look at is if your DVD player can play DVD audio. Not all DVD players support DVD audio. I would honestly recomed burning to CD for players. I would only use a DVD mp3 disc in a computer. The DVD audio actually has a different ID tag to the disc to tell the DVD player to go into the audio folder and not the video folder. So you will have media issues, id issues and possible player issues. I think DVD audio is still too new (created same time as video format but not used heavily by music industry) and would resort to CD's. Just my advice as I do backup large amounts of mp3 onto DVD discs (but as data files).
mp3 is data file therefore supported by dvd players in pc's. Rarely in standalone dvd players if not at all. cheezzzz_X_X_X_X_X_[small]Just another lonely Hawaiian with: P4 2.66Ghz, 120gb HD (7200rpm) 512mb DDR333 (PC2700) SDRAM Samsung CD-ROM SC-140C Sony DVD RW DW-U12A(OEM for DRU500AX) DXC v1.52 online; v1.50 standby Smartipper/DvdDecrypter Dvd2one/Nero 551028 Enterprise Ed[/small]
