dvd name MATRIX

    Hi,
    I just bought a cake box of dvd name under matrix to try out. I check with the dvd identify it shown this dvd was manufactured by taiyo yuden. Is it true? How is the quality? Anyone got any comments on these please shoot....

    henryting- quick check ! Taiyo YUdens are (MADE IN JAPAN) if your matrix disk are Made In Taiwan or elsewhere then Taiyo Yudens thaey are'nt least not real ones good luck

    In my humble experience, Matrix are right there with CMC Mag disks, suitable for drink coasters at the inlaws. Yes I bought some from shop4tech.com before I found AfterDawn. They may work for you for a while, but will degrage fairly quickly.

    Don't feel bad I once bought a 100 Ultran Silver 4x dvd-r disc when I did'nt know any better ! To date I still have 50 or sixty of them for experiments & coasters the other 50 I trashed long ago - the trick is not making the same mistake twice right ????
