I too have downloaded the program and the plug ins. However no problems with any of that, but about 3 out of every 4 DVD's will not play. But they will play in my computer. I was checking them in my computer and then filing away. A friend asked to borrowqa movie and that is when I realized I had a problem. So I began checking all of the movies I had just copied and again about 3 out of 4 did not work. Up until the release of DVD neXT I was using DVD X Platinum, wiht no issues, or at least a whole lot less. I did uninstall and reinstall hoping that would work, it did not. Same problems. ANy information would be greatly appreciated. For now I am back to using DVD X Platinum.
you might have a compatability problem with the discs and the players! Booktype/bitsetting might help if you writer can do this. Check this thread out: http://k-probe.com/bitsetting-booktype-faq.php also you might want to make sure you have the latest firmware for your writer: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_search.php just put your drive name in the search and see if you have the same firmware as what is listed. I also think that you might have burned the disc too fast.... try burning at 4x .... this will help players read the disc better!
kuokoausa this is the thread that international will monitor about DVD Next Copy so when ye get time post ye problem there.so they can view it. http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/309264
Ihoe. Thank you for your information. I am first going to try one at a slower speed. Going to those links is real foriegn to me. I am not sure with alot of what is being discussed. I will keep this up for a few more weeks, then I will see how the Mom's are doing.
I've downloaded DVD neXt Copy and installed the TRIAL version. Obviously it is loaded as the 15 day trial. My question is that is says that it supports ALL media. Unfortunately, it refuses to burn to a DVD-R DL disc on a Sony DRU-810A v1.0d (with firmware update). Any suggestion will be welcome as I'm creating too many coasters.
MtDewJnky, I had never heard of the program but I went to the thread and saw what was there. Save your $$ and use DVD-Rebuilder or Shrink. D/L AnyDVD ($39.00) and use DVDDecrypter and AnyDVD at the same time to copy the DVD to D/L. Use .iso mode read and then .iso write. DVDDecrypter will use the original layer break.
