Hey kleo, i havent tried this yet but if you go dl DVD SHRINK 3.0 (its free) It is pretty much all inclusive program. It will rip compress and let you reauhtor also you can add more than one title to each so you can have more than one DVD on one dvd. Also check out http://www.chrismccann.co.uk/user_guides.htm After you get done ripping and compressing and reauthoring just use nero 6 its a snap. Good luck

You are going to need to use TMPGEnc DVD Author. Check the user guide in my signature as it explains how to do this.

The methods suggested by Oriphus and Koola will both work, but with a few differences in outcome:

    1) TMPGEnc DVD Author: This will let you put the two movies on one DVD, and will create a menu system that allows you to directly access either movie. Be aware, however, that the output may be too large for one DVD (depending on the size of your two sets of VOBs), meaning that you would have to compress it to fit on a single DVD-R.

    2) DVD2one v1.30: Will allow you to "join" the two movies onto one DVD-R, but will not give you a menu from which to access them. Instead, the program has an "advanced navigation" feature that allows you to use your remote to skip directly from the first to the second movie (ie, not having to skip through all of the chapters).

Yuriv, i havent checked it out yet, but what function allows you to do this skipping in join mode of DVD2One? Do all DVD players support this function (within reason)?
    Thanks

    Hey Chris,
According to the folks over at the DVD2One website:
"This new feature [join] is experimental and may not work correctly with specific dvd players, or may have some unwanted side effects. It is recommended to try it first with a rewritable disk. It adds the following ways to navigate between the different titlesets:

    - Right menubutton for next titleset.
    - Left menubutton for previous titleset.
    - Next chapter at the last chapter of a title goes to the next titleset.
    - Previous chapter at the first chapter of a title goes to the previous titleset.

The menubutton system may interfere with subtitles. Also if a titleset does not have subtitles, a dummy subtitle is added to make this feature to work."

I have used the "seamless" join mode with great success, but have not tried the "advanced navigation" system as I prefer to have a menu in the case of multiepisode or multi-film DVDs.

BTW, the above explanation was copied from:

    http://www.dvd2one.com/join.php

A fuller explanation of the "join" mode is available at the link....

Thanks for that. It seems to me that there could be a lot of room for confusion in the join mode of it. Maybe they should have created a GUI splash screen on the outputted material to enalbe menu selections. THanks for the info anyway mate :D
