I back up most everything with DVDdecrypter and DVDShrink. They are free programs, have excellent guides available.

You can get DVDShrink at this forum and DVDDecrypter here:

Guides are in my signature block.

    Cheers

if you have paid for vso's software,i take it you have the latest release???...in which case you do not need TMPGEnc dvd author,as vso's paid for app has its own burn engine...

go to the options and set the custom size to 4300 mb

and as for using dvd shrink/decrypter....you do not need these
they dont handle TS folders..you are converting avi's/dvix/ right?

change the type of disks you are using, should be as simple as that

go out and buy some verbatims dvd-r,and you wont look back

    btw,how many dvd players/ps2's have you got...hehehe

    Hi there,
Just so you know, DivxToDVD v1.99 has it's own built in burn engine.

Have you tried burning with it ?

[bold]UPDATE:[/bold] Hello hursty, re-read the threat and noticed above you already mentioned that, sorry !

That's what you get when you speed read a long thread :)
