I have the full version of the cucusoft software (just got my iPod and software the other day) and i have been successful in converting a movie "Happy Gilmour" from DVD to my .mp4, and an .avi file to .mp4 and i put the latter onto my iPod already.

Problem is that when i put my Seinfeld DVD in, and try to convert a few episdoes the program starts converting but as soon as the episode is almost over being converted the program freezes. I have to hit Alt+Crtl+Delete to end the program. Is this because Seinfeld is Copy Protected?

I really must have Seinfeld on my iPod -- this is the main reason i bought the iPod 60GB!.

I too must have Seinfeld on my iPod! I have several episodes from seasons 1-6 loaded. I have not had any problems. I use PQ DVD to iPod and I have AnyDVD running in background so I have no issues as far as copy protection goes. I would say that protection is your problem. I heard that seasons 5-6 have some additional protection compared to seasons 1-4. Not sure about the details. If you dont have AnyDVD running try the free trial to see if that fixes anything. I LOVE AnyDVD.

RNF1968 - I don't even think you need AnyDVD running in the background. I have converted about 100 DVD's thus far, without any problems. hell, it even lets me convert my dvr-ms files :)

I don't use cucusoft, so I wouldn't be able to help on that, but I have sampled cucusoft, and IMO, PQDVD is a better, faster & more efficient program :)

Lethal_B - I like to use CloneDVD with AnyDVD to avoid the full rip to HD. One less step (I think). Its somewhat convenient when you want to go disk to disk without having to rip/encode/burn. Does that make sense? :) AnyDVD updates their software weekly also. They are pretty much on top of things.

    aka_kahn,

I am having exactly the same problem you are - only with Sex and the City DVDs.

Every now and then I get an episode to complete. Most of the time it gets to 99% complete and then just hangs. I have to end the process via Task Manager.

Please post back here if figure this out!
