I have a DVD burner on my computer, but I don't know if it uses DVD+ or DVD- media? how can I find out?
Get DVD Decrypter from here: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_decrypter.cfm After installing it run the program and make sure your DVD-Burrner drive is selected. Then at the top of the program choose: "TOOLS" then go to "DRIVE" Then go down the list and click on "CAPIBILITIES" that will show you what your drive can do and cant do.
Hi there, You can also use [bold]VSO Inspector v1.1[/bold] If will tell you what it can READ / WRITE (What media is supported). Tell you the firmware revision of your drive. Provide you the MEDIA ID of your blank disks. Can scan your media after it's been burned to make sure it's 100% error free (Reading sector by sector / File Scan).
