Is there any software that will let me edit dvds/vob files ie take the start off one dvd and add the start of another
Well you can easilly edit the VOB files without much of a problem you just need to use a Mpeg editor that supports AC3 audio like "Womble Mpeg2VCR" or "Womble Mpeg Video Wizard 2005" but it is best to Rip the Vob files as a single Vob file with just one audio Track before editing them..You should be able to do this with most good DVD Ripping programs.... After you have the Vob file edited the way you want you will have to re-author the DVD useing a DVD Authoring Program...This is because after editing the Edited File will not Properly Corespond with the IFO and BUP files so the DVD will have to be Re-authored and all of the Navigation Perameters will have to be Rebuilt.... If you have never used a DVD authoring Program before then you are going to be in for a steep Learning Curve.... Cheers
