I've been searching around for DVD Photo software, but what irks me is that all the software seems to only be able to create a "video" slideshow, meaning that when you start the slideshow, each image is displayed for a certain period of time, then disappears and is replaced by another picture. Now this is great for family pictures and what have you, but for something where you can create a photo gallery, like what they do on movie DVDs with concept art and such, where you can use the navigation arrows to switch between different photos, as well as do things like zooming in and out and such. I've tried searching on google for "DVD Photo Gallery", amongst other things, but so far nothing is coming up at all. I'm new here, so I hope this is the right section, actually I signed up here just to see if I can figure out if there's any software like this at all whatsoever.

That's some good software, but I'm not sure if it's what I'm asking about. What I'm asking about is something, and I should've thought about it before settling on the thread title, that creates an interactive photo gallery on the DVD (navigatable using the DVD remote arrow keys), not just the standard select a bunch of photos and arrange them into a slide show deal-there's plenty of software out there that can do that, because I HAVE looked. I'm looking for something that creates an "old-fashioned" kind of slide show, where you have to press a button before proceeding to the next slide. Unless of course there's some feature of the software you directed me to that I've overlooked, it doesn't seem to be quite what I'm looking for.
So I was just not wording my description correctly? What I meant by navigation buttons was navigation buttons on the DVD player remote. The thing does have zooming in and zooming out, but it's all automated, which is a nice effect-but as I said, it's not exactly what I'm looking for. Part of the reason why my searching for this kind of software has been difficult is because it's really complicated to describe exactly what it is, and usually "DVD Photo Slideshow", just leads me to software that's like this-fully automated. So I guess what I'm looking for is something that can create a manually-operated slideshow on a DVD-like Powerpoint or something, or can Powerpoint do that? I've never checked to see if Powerpoint can burn slideshows onto a playable DVD or not. It'd be cool if it could.
Okay, I found software that can convert Powerpont presentations to DVD, but it seems to still have the limitation of not being able to just focus on one slide-although it might, I'll have to check it out I guess. It also seems like one step too many to have to do all of that just for something that should be very simple. I also edited the thread title, but strangely I have to double post because I can't find any way to edit a post. Strange, many forums I've been to won't let you edit the thread title (without the intervention of a moderator or admin), but will let you edit your posts, this place seems to be the opposite-letting you edit the title but not your posts, unless there's something I missed. Oh, it's a little icon in the corner-I'm used to seeing a little thing that says "edit". I'll note that in the future.
