    Hi

When a play a DVD from a folder in the computer, I only able to see the english subtitles even if I select the spanish one.
Even if the player show the spanish subtitle is selected, always shows the english subtitle.

I'm using Nero Showtime 7, but I tried other player, i don't remember which one now, with the same problem.

I reinstalled the klite codec pack, uninstalled it and installed vistaCodePack 444, uninstall all, etc, but the problem persist. The most extrange thing is it works fine if I use the DVD media directly. The problem is with the ripped one.

I know the ripped movies are fine, because I have old ones that worked fine a few months ago, and now only shows the english subtitle.

Any ideas? is there some way to customize the Nero codec?

    Thanks!

why not use VLC media player? you can choose the subtitles menu from the top menu and you can have the subtitles that you want.

I'm able to choose the subtitles, the problem is it doesn't work. It doesn't matter which subtitle I choose, it shows always the english subtitle.

I used the Nero Showtime, the Gabest's Media Player Classic , the Windows Media Player, all with the same result.

I don't know the VLC but I pretty sure is a Codec issue more than a player issue...
