I am capturing digital home movies with Pinnacle Studio 9 and burning to DVD. I then and making copies for my family. I am copying with Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.0 disc copier feature. The copies will randomly stop and go in my families DVD players. There is no pattern with this problem. I am burning at a rate of 2.4 MB and am using middle grade DVD+r material. I haven't tried playing the master copy of my movies in their DVD players yet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Well the Stopping and Starting sounds Like a Bad Media Problem but it Could also be Technical Problems with the Way the DVD Was Originally Authored or even How the Source Files were Encoded.... Also do not do your Copies "On the Fly" because that can cause Buffer under-Run problems which has simular effects to the Ones you are experiencing....
