I've been gradually building a list of about 70 items (all .avi)totaling about 2500MB. When I first thought I'd completed it, I noticed a few of the selections weren't playing at all, a couple were choppy, a couple were without sound, and and a few were chopped off at the end, sometimes a lot, sometimes just a bit. I went back and fixed all I could, burning the fixed ones separately first, to make sure they were okay, and they were. Then I replaced them in the long list, but not only is the problem still there, others that were okay now have problems! I would say that perhaps my rw disk was too burned in, but I just burned a shorter 'test' list again and all the selections were fine on that list, though not in the long list. I also though that perhaps I was burning at the wrong speed (only 2x) but I burned the short list that way, too. Perhaps the problematic list is too long? Or the list itself is too old? Or Joliet view has something to do with it? Thank you for any help you can give me, I want to finish this already and I'm tearing my hair out!!
Oh, no! I just tried it again and this is this is what I got...doesn't look too promising, does it? I rubbed out the disk, I thought it was enough to have the list! [url=http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i182/sherwod/message.png[/url]
I'm sorry, I've been trying to post the screenshot, and it won't go. The message says that I need to insert the previous backup disk (!!!) in order to burn that compilation...so maybe the list did get old?
