I recently recieved a number of DVD+Rs off an eBay auction on which all the video files are in .rm (Real Media) format, and the seller told me that these DVDs would only play on commercial DVD players that specifically stated they played .rm files. These are unmistakably DVDs, (each DVD has over 100 files, some split up into separate folders, if that makes any difference) not CD-Rs, as they will only play on computers with DVD-ROM drives, but of course not on any of my home DVD players. Therefore, I was wondering if anyone could suggest some commericial DVD players, brand names or models, that do support .rm files. There seems to be a lot of talk on these boards about the Philips DVP, but I couldn't find any posts pertaining to .rm files. Any help in regards to this would be very much appreciated, thank you!!

You need to convert the RM files to either xvid or divx-then you can play them on a divx compatable dvd player.
