Hi, My DVD player is already multi region. I purchased a DVD from amazon.com and it is RCE so it wont work back here in the UK. Can I get round this RCE? Somebody please help!! Thanks in advance. Woz
WOZZA If you have a DVD Writer in your PC you can simply , rip/unencrypt & in the process remove RCE & Macrovision + region too... DVD Shrink Nero 6 I'm also in U.K Woz & I have yet to stick anything in my Sony DVP-NS305 that wont play (other than SVCD , fixable via f/w tho). Have you had a look to see if you can any firmware revisions for your particular DVD Player , maybe phone your supplier of Sony player & ask if they have the firmware they can implement or send to you on CD (?)
Ok, thanks for the replys but I dont really wanna rip it cause I have actually got the DVD now. Is there anything I can do so this disc will work? Woz.
