Dvd player that can read anything?

    Hi there, can anyone tell me what's the best dvd player that can read anything? I've got a Thomson, but it has some problems reading some dvd-r brands (it reads primedisc really good)!! A friend of mine has a denver and it reads anything that you throw at it! Does anyone know any other dvd player that reads everything?

    I bought a reconditioned Emerson EWD-7003 on Ebay for $65.00 that plays everything I've put in it. I use TDK +R, Maxell -RW, Imation -RW, Memorex -R.

    Acoustic Solutions, model 651 is capable of reading even cheap, unbranded media dvds.
    It also has a built in stereo decoder too which is handy for home cinema solutions on the cheap. Makes a hell of a noise when first seeking them though - akin to a chopper crash I was in back in '66 ....or was it '65....
