DVD player wont play DVD-R

    Why wont a DVD-R created in Nero play on my JVC player and yet it will in my Toshiba?
    Manuals for both machines say they should play DVD-R.

    Some dvd players will play mpeg-2 & some wont so it depends on what source you burnt using Nero as to playback.

    Give us as much info as possible , what DVD-R did you 'create' with Nero ?

    try dvd decrypter with dvd 43 it will probably work. i have a toshiba and a citizen dvd player and when i back up my own movies that i buy with dvd x copy, the back up will not play in the toshiba but will play in the citizen. go figure (exclamation)
    it 's probably the program that you are using. don't try to understand computers, it's like women(exclamation) hahhhahahhaha just a joke

    Herbs,
    The original DVD was a childrens film and decrypted using DVD43.
    This was then copied using Nero.The media used was Infiniti Samurai
