I am very new to this and well ........I have used Shrink and Decrypter and they are both great. I have had no problems getting them onto a DVD. However, they will only play on my computer and will not play in my DVD player. Is there something that I am doing wrong? If so, what is it that I need to do to ensure my ability to play my DVD's in my DVD player??? Thanks!!!
what kind of blank media are you using? dvd-r or dvd+r~ you have to make sure your dvd player (stand alone) is capable of playing the various formats out there...secondly, use GOOD media to ensure compatibility/playability as well~ if you are using dvd+r, you can make it VERY compatible by booktyping dvd+r to dvd-rom~ SOME drives allow this, but, is dependant if you burner is able to do this... let us know what type of media you are burning to and what model your dvd burner is..i can assist you further once i have something to go on...
I have been using DVD+R and DVD+RW's. What I do not know is what kind of burner I have. I am pretty technically challeged for the most part .......just using what came with my computer. However, I have been using high quality DVD's so I know that cannot be the problem. However, the DVD player we have is just a cheap one that we bought at Wal-Mart ..........a CyberHome .....never even heard of the brand ....was just the cheapest thing and serves its purpose for the most part .......up until now anyway. If there is a way for me to tell you what type of burner I have, please tell me where to look on my computer. I would really appreciate it. If you have any other information, I would appreciate that as well. Thank you so much for responding.
