dvd playing

i now have window media player, but will not play any dvd i try. do i need another progam. or is there something else to use on the pc that is better?

 

in my opinion PowerDVD is the best DVD player out there...

and install and then play with your window media player.
It should be no problems.

 

windows media play says needs a decoder. downloaded a progam to check for compatable ones none found recommend so went to link dl ffdshow. still unable to play dvd.possible set up error on my part but dont know.(http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/ffdshow.cfm). needs some direction here . thanks

 

You need a DVD player. And I found one lately named CoolDVD which can play stably and smoothly. You can give it a try.
