Howdy, wonder if any1 can help with the following problem!! recently acquired a toshiba d-r250 dvd recorder. have recorded 3 seperate shows onto a dvd-r and finalised the disc, however when playing the disc it goes straight to the first show. i would like to know how to sort it out so the dvd playlist is shown at the start (as a shop bought dvd would have a title menu with play movie, scenes, and extras for example). Can anyone help please?
Not as easy as plopping three shows on one disc. You can use DVDShrink or any number of video editing softwares available to create your chapters and menu's
after you have encoded each file to mpeg2 i suggest you try using tmpgenc dvd author, to add your title, menus etc before you burn the project to disc. If you look in the guides menu at the top of the page you will find a basic and advanced guide to read
