I have, what i think is, a huge problem. A year ago i have had an modchip installed on my xbox. I do not know which one but it is a cheap one. (i discovered that a phew months ago) ON the xbox is also the Evolution X dashboard installed. As far as i can remember i had played a dvd when my mod chip was installed but after the evox installation i didn't try to play a dvd. So yesterday i tried to run a dvd but i get a strange "error". When my xbox starts, evox starts and recognizes the dvd, then it boots (when you c the "evolution X" boot screen) and then it pops to the beginning screen of xbox... (the X logo with microsoft beneath it) So it finds the dvd but then won't start. Does anyone has a clue? The store were i bought the thing didn't knew the problem and told me it couldn't be the chip.. (the bastards cuz now it seems the problem isnt under the garanty...) Anyone please a quick repons, i would be very gratefull!

note: the dvd's are original, no backups. The backups of my original games seems to work properly...

I am having the same problem, but with the backups i made. Try to press play on the remote after it doesn't boot up, and if you get an error message, you have to do something to the drive. Check the forum dvd playback kit not working on the main page. It gives a possible solution, i havent tried it yet though.

r u guys using dvdx or do you have the actual dvd remote?....if you have the remote and aren't using dvdx then you have to FTP your xbox, edit evox.ini so that the dvd part points to your original ms dashboard.
