Ok burning from my computer to dvd+r. i can watch the dvd from my computer but not from anywhere else . please halp me adjust my settings to get it to work.
Well if the you didn't finalize the disc after burning it. It isn't going to play on anything else but your computer.
Lots of things, burning speed (1/2 the rated speed is a good rule except Taiyo Yuden, 3/4 there), poor media (use Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim with Azo dye, any made in Japan): http://www.digitalfaq.com/reviews/dvd-media.htm, ImgBurn is free and can booktype +R depending on your DVD burner.
A lot of devices aren't compatible with DVD+R format. Verify the above suggestions and also that your device can read +R discs.
