dvd+r backup won't play in xbox

    I use DVDXCopy to rip DVDs, then it uses Nero to burn to DVD+Rs. My xbox won't play the DVD+Rs. What do you think I should do?

    OH, the DVD+Rs are purple Memorex

    You guys might want to try a different program to burn your dvdr. I used to have a problem with Nero burning my dvdr movies. Go get RecordNow Max and burn your dvd movies by data mode. Seems like Nero burns the movie but only seems to read in that drive that it was made in. So get RecordNow and burn your dvd as a data disc and that should work.

    I use Nero with DVD+R's in my XBOX and they work fine. However, I have always had problems playing +RW's. I use memorex as well. I am going to try a different brand for the RW's and see if that works.

    Most of the problems backing up will be cause of older versions of the programs. I have a HP DVD 3001 +R and I had problems. What I did was get the latest version of xISOv115, and the latest version of Nero WITH DVD support. Problem solved! I.m using a very cheap purple CD branded iproformance by LG I think.
