Ok bare with me as I'm only gradually getting my head around DVD creation. I have been messing around with creating DVD's from AVI's using the following method : encoding with TMPGEnc 3.0 Plus, authoring with DVDLab Pro (I want high quality results) and burning with whatever. The thing is I have a dual layer burner that burns both "+" and "-" yet my standalone DVD player only reads "-", therefore I would like to create "-" dual layer DVD's. I read recently that DVD Author Pro (from Tsunami) supports DVD+R DL and got to think is there something I must do in the encoding/authoring process to prepare for DVD-R DL burning? I just planned to create my DVD (DVD9) and when the time came to burn - pop in a blank DVD-R DL disc and go. I am now wondering do I need encoding/authoring software that supports DVD-R DL DVD's or was I right in thinking the DVD files I produce will work on both "+" DL and "-" DL media? Anyway I hope my ramblings made sense to someone! Have a nice day all
weird stuff ...i dont know if i understand your problem, but you said you already have dvd lab pro so after you hit the compile button on that pop-up there will be an option in the last section that says 'auto-start recording' which i have never used but seems like it should burn it to your dvd for you personally i test the compiled version i more time then burn it with nero gl -nomad311
