For all intensive purposes my burner should work, but whenever I put dual layer media in it isn't detected. When i try to burn to it I get a "device not ready(reference point not found) error in imgburn, and a similar error in nero. My drive should have the capability to write to dual layer (its a lite-on dvdrw lh-20aip with up to date firmware). Please somebody help me out.
Try removing it in Device Manager and rebooting. What brand media are you using? BTW, FYI, it is for all intents and purposes, not intensive purposes.
