Try Taiyo Yuden. Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim are near perfect, so almost all errors aren't the media's fault.

I've used hundreds of Verbatim DVD-R without any problems related to the media.

it seems the disc's work okay likely the iso's ive got are bad. some will load first time, some i have to open and close the drive or start the box with the disc in. sometimes i get unknown, data disc, isoXXXX, or it plays the first intro's the damaged or dirty disc message. other games play fine. since i didnt make the iso's i have to assume they arent good. :(

    Hi ladies
    Use MEMOREX DVD+R's
they work in all 4 drives, even the Samsung which can only use -R's thats what my xbox has and the memorex play no problem.
    peace
